HOTEL SEO + GEO GUIDE
Make hotel information accurate, complete and readable
Hotel discoverability is not keyword stuffing. Travelers, search engines and AI should see the same facts about location, rooms, amenities, dining, experiences, hours and contacts.
Organize hotel content first
| Content type | Recommended information |
|---|---|
| Hotel | Name, tagline, description, address, city, country, phone, email, website, check-in/out times, logo and media |
| Room types | Name, summary, description, static price, size, capacity, amenities and media |
| Dining and facilities | Cuisine or category, opening hours, location, menu link, description and media |
| Experiences | Location, time, static price, description and media |
Structured data must match the page
- Use Hotel on the property page and connect visible address, contact, media and amenity facts.
- Use HotelRoom where appropriate; only include capacity, amenities and static prices visible to guests.
- Dining pages may use Restaurant when the visible content supports it.
- FAQPage and BreadcrumbList must also reflect actual page content.
Multilingual and crawler checks
Confirm canonical URLs
Each localized page should identify its own canonical URL.
Connect pages with hreflang
Localized equivalents should reference one another and include x-default.
Publish sitemap, robots and llms.txt
Each entry point should return successfully and expose only content intended to be public.
Verify real rendering
Core hotel content should be readable in server-rendered or static HTML without requiring interaction.
Launch acceptance
| Check | Pass condition |
|---|---|

| Mobile | Media, copy, navigation and inquiry forms work on narrow screens |
| Indexing | Canonical, hreflang, sitemap and robots are correct |
| Structured data | Syntax is valid and matches visible content |
| Boundaries | Static prices are not presented as live availability or bookable rates |
